SONGS of FAITH and TESTIMONY

ALMEDA'S STORY

From Revolution to Revelation

Like nearly everyone alive today, Almeda grew up and came of age under the influence of chemical contraception, the sexual revolution, feminism, drugs and a spirit of rebellion.

In 1977, after reading Hal Lindsey's "The Late Great Planet Earth," she accepted Jesus as her Savior. But knowing nothing of what it meant to be a Christian, Almeda continued to walk in the ways of the world until God placed certain people and events in her life. The rest is her story of transformation through the redemptive power of God.

A multi-nominated singer songwriter, Almeda shares her testimony through original songs and Gospel favorites. Adding historical context and PowerPoint images, her story of God's redemptive love is vividly illustrated and will not be soon forgotten.

HIS LOVE FOR ME

Almeda Bradshaw

In general, this song celebrates the God-given life of every man, woman and child, both their physical and spiritual beings. More specifically, this song honors and gives voice to the millions of vulnerable human beings whose lives were taken from them by abortion.

WHAT FOLKS HAVE TO SAY

“Almeda is an outstanding musician, and we were truly blessed to have her lead Sunday worship. Not only is she tremendously gifted, but was great to work with. She expresses her testimony in a heartfelt and winsome way, far from overbearing or cliche. The theological content and undertones in her original songs were deep, biblical and beautifully expressed. Anyone that gets to enjoy her music, whether in a church or not, will be truly blessed.”  ~ Pastor Spencer Allen, Reformed Presbyterian Church, Lemmon, SD ~ August 2026

“Almeda's program was spiritually uplifting, and my group enjoyed her program immensely.” ~ Kathy Rae, First Christian Church, Billings, MT ~ September 2026

THE INSPIRATION

I once heard a sermon about Barnabas whose name means "Son of Encouragement," and the question was asked, "Are you a balcony person or a basement person?" I knew who I was and who I wanted to be. I wanted to be that Barnabas person in the balcony caring enough to pay attention and applaud and lift others up. I did not want to be that person in the basement, the one dragging others down with negativity and criticism.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing.
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable,
and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable.
Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Philippians 4:18

I grew up in a home without God, where my unbelieving dad dominated and my mother suffered severe depression. I grew up knowing something was wrong but didn't understand what the root of the problem was. Then, as a young adult, I learned about and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. God began a wonderful work in me. It continues today and it is my heart's desire to share what God has done for me.

But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it
for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of
telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
Acts 20:24

MINISTRY OF SUPPORT

Because my story includes abortion, I work on behalf of La Vie Health, an early pregnancy center in Billings, MT. This vital life-honoring organization is dedicated to loving vulnerable mothers and saving their babies from abortion. Through my ministry presentations, I help build awareness and raise funds for this incredibly loving organization.

And as an alumni of the“Forgiven and Set Free” post-abortion support group at La Vie, I assist counselor Virginia Power to support other groups of women who bravely deal with their past abortions through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

"Almeda Bradshaw is a compassionate and dedicated servant of the Lord. She works with me in our post-abortion support group helping women who have experienced abortion to understand the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.  Kind, warm and loving, she is willing to share her experience while giving space for others to unpack their own. She arrives early, stays late contributing her time, talent and resources. It's always my pleasure to work with Almeda." ~ Virginia Power, CCEF MT, Westminster Theological Seminary
